Moscow’s lack of reaction to the Ukrainian offensive may bring the decision of the United States of America to lift the ban on long-range strikes on Russian territory.
People’s deputy, deputy chairman of the Council’s Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Yehor Chernev expressed this opinion on the air of the telethon . He recalled that Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who together with Democrat Richard Blumenthal visited Ukraine during the operation in the Kursk region, supported the lifting of restrictions on strikes on military facilities in Russia.
“Now the majority of Republicans have taken exactly such a position. The administration itself (of the US president – UNIAN) hesitates more, the very provision of long-range weapons depends on their decisions,” the people’s deputy explained.
Recently, a delegation of Ukrainian parliamentarians returned from the USA, where they held many meetings with congressmen of the US House of Representatives. “Everyone with whom we met supports the lifting of the restriction on the use of weapons. In addition, we invited other types of long-range weapons, which we do not have, but they are definitely in the warehouses of the United States,” Chernev noted.
He noted that American congressmen are currently on vacation and will return to work only in September. Therefore, submitting the bill to the US Congress will take a long time. “We have already invited to write letters to the White House, to the Pentagon, in order to change the position of the administration. Given the realities on the ground today, as Putin likes to say, the operation in the Kursk region and no escalation on the part of the Russian Federation, I think we have enough are close to lifting restrictions and obtaining other long-range weapons,” the deputy emphasized.
According to the people’s deputy, the military operation in the Kursk region was launched precisely in order to prevent the occupiers from striking from their territory. “But this could have been avoided if we had long-range weapons with which we would destroy the entire military infrastructure of the enemy from the territory of Ukraine,” Chernev summarized.

No likely going to happen until the elections are over in November . Should something drastic happen the blame would fall on the Democratic Party. This could have catastrophic consequences should Trump suddenly gain momentum and win the Elections. Your best bet it to continue the course and stand up to Russia till elections are over. Changes will be made to finish this war shortly after.
Maybe you could enlighten us over what exactly this sort of drastic happening could be. I see none.

We need to wait maybe a year or so for Biden to finally do the right thing, but he’ll be in his nursing home by then. Time is ticking for his deplorable administration but much too slowly.
