The daughter of US President’s Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg, Meaghan Mobbs, said that the russian attack on Kyiv on the night of July 31 is a response by russian dictator vladimir putin to US President Donald Trump’s shortening of the ceasefire deadline. She added that russia sent a clear “we do not fear you.”

She wrote about this on X.

“Kyiv is under massive drone attack. Make no mistake, this is Putin’s response to President Trump’s deadline. He is testing American resolve and strength. We must not be found wanting,” the report said.

Later, Mobbs emphasized that russia later launched missiles – “only after civilians had left bomb shelters to return home.”

“Russia is sending a calculated message to America and the West: we do not fear you,” she added.

Reference. Meaghan Mobbs heads a private foundation that helps people in danger and provides them with the necessary assistance, including providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine. In this role, she has established relationships with the US government, international governments, traditional NGOs and donors.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of July 31, russian forces attacked Kyiv with missiles after a prolonged drone attack. The blow fell on residential areas of the capital.
