Participants of the resistance movement “Atesh” helped thwart the offensive of Russian occupation forces in the north of Kharkiv region. The partisans wedged into the ranks of the 82nd motorized rifle regiment of the Russian Armed Forces and prevented the enemy’s offensive near Volchansk.
On the eve of the offensive, agents passed on critically important data about the preparation of the assault. The military movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars “Atesh” reported this on Telegram.
Details of the operation
Sources in the 82nd Motorized Rifle Regiment reported that an enemy offensive was being prepared in the forest near Vovchansk. The agents provided the exact coordinates of Russian artillery positions, armored vehicles, and manpower concentrations.
The information provided included the location of firing points, ammunition supply routes, and unit rotation schedules. This information allowed the Ukrainian Defense Forces to prepare defenses in advance and deliver preemptive strikes on enemy positions. As a result, the planned offensive by the occupiers was thwarted before it even began.
The partisans also emphasized that such an operation proves the importance of intelligence work. At the same time, the movement participants emphasized that even in the elite units of the enemy army there are those who are ready to help Ukraine for a fair reward.

As OBOZ.UA reported, Ukrainian defenders continue to inflict losses on the Russian occupation army. In particular, they recently managed to hit a launch site for Russian strike drones near Volchansk in the Kharkiv region.
