The air defense units managed to destroy ten drones.

Tonight, during a Russian attack in the south, enemy drones hit the city’s infrastructure. This was announced by the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration Oleg Kiper .

“As a result of the night drone attack on Odessa, there was damage to civilian infrastructure. Fortunately, there were no deaths or injuries,” the official said.

According to him, an unfinished high-rise building was damaged by an enemy drone strike and the glazing was knocked out. Damage to the educational institution building was also recorded – a broken roof, ceilings, and broken windows. As Kiper assures, no fires due to the hit have been recorded.

All relevant services are working. Law enforcement officers are recording the consequences of yet another Russian crime.

“The air defense units worked effectively against the vast majority of enemy targets,” the OVA chief emphasized.

According to the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine , another night drone attack in southern Ukraine lasted for more than 5 hours.

The enemy sent kamikaze UAVs of the “Shahed-131/136” type from the Black Sea and the temporarily occupied Kherson region to 3 regions. The air defense units managed to destroy ten drones: 5 in Odessa region, 3 in Nikolaev region, 2 in Vinnytsia region.

In Nikolaev, the enemy again hit civilian infrastructure. Residential buildings, an industrial facility and a sports and recreation complex were damaged. The fire that arose was promptly extinguished by the State Emergency Service specialists. There were no reports of casualties.

In the Vinnytsia region, debris from downed UAVs caused a fire at one of the infrastructure facilities. The fire was contained. Firefighters are completing the liquidation work.

According to the Nikolaev MBA , it is now known that more than 20 residential buildings were damaged – private and multi-storey buildings, office premises, and a private enterprise. There is destruction on the territory of the utility company.

Let us remind you that at night Russian occupation forces once again  attacked Ukraine with drones . Drones were recorded in several regions, including the Odessa region. Residents of Odessa reported hearing powerful explosions. The head of the Odessa Police Department Oleg Kiper appealed to residents with a request not to leave safe places until lights out.

The military reported that Russian UAVs were in the Vinnitsa region and entered the Nikolaev region from the Black Sea. Subsequently, an air raid warning was announced in a number of regions, but the alarm continued in the Khmelnitsky, Vinnytsia, Nikolaev and Kherson regions. 

Then explosions occurred in Nikolaev. The mayor of the city, Alexander Senkevich, reported the hit; at about 2:30 in the morning he reported a fire in the private sector.
