“As of now, one person has died in Kyiv and the region, and 16 others have been injured. My condolences to all relatives and friends. All victims are receiving the necessary medical care. The elimination of the consequences of the shelling continues at three locations, with almost 600 rescuers involved. He informed that in total this week Russia used about 1,450 strike drones, over 1,640 guided bombs and 99 missiles of various types against Ukraine. People were injured in Odessa and Zaporizhia regions, and destruction occurred in Sumy and Chernihiv regions. Read also:

Also, as Zelenskyy emphasized, this week the Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Cherkasy regions were under Russian attacks.

He emphasized that ballistic protection is a constant and top priority now.

“Interceptors are needed every day, and I am grateful to everyone who takes our agreements seriously and ensures the supply of anti-ballistic missiles. These packages are now literally saving lives during every Russian massive attack. And it is very important that, along with the work on anti-ballistic missiles, pressure on Russia continues. Delaying new decisions gives Moscow the opportunity to plan not only new attacks against our people, but also how to avoid new sanctions restrictions,” the president noted.

Night strike on Ukraine

As UNIAN reported, at night the Russians launched a massive combined strike on Ukraine using 126 strike UAVs and 41 air- and ground-based missiles of various types. The Air Force’s radio-technical troops recorded 166 air attack vehicles. Among them: 10 3M22 “Tsirkon” anti-ship missiles (launch areas – Kursk region of the Russian Federation); 25 Iskander-M / S-400 ballistic missiles (launch areas – Bryansk, Kursk regions of the Russian Federation); 3 Onyx anti-ship missiles (launch areas – occupied Crimea); 3 Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missiles (launch areas – airspace over the Black Sea).

According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defense systems had shot down/suppressed 126 targets: 18 missiles and 108 drones of various types. Hits of 23 missiles and 10 strike UAVs were recorded at 20 locations, as well as the fall of downed (fragments of) UAVs at 18 locations.
