Assad’s wife doesn’t like Moscow: the woman filed for divorce and wants to move to London

12/20/2024

Asma al-Assad, the wife of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, has filed for divorce. She wants to leave Moscow and move to London.

This was reported by CNN Türk , citing sources close to the Assad family. According to them, the wife of the ousted Syrian president does not like the living conditions in Moscow.

Bashar al-Assad and his family moved to Russia after losing control of Damascus. However, sources say Asma al-Assad has expressed dissatisfaction with living conditions in Moscow. She is known to have British citizenship.

In order to obtain permission to leave, Asma appealed to the Russian judicial authorities. Her application has not yet been considered.

At the same time, it is reported that Bashar al-Assad himself is facing severe restrictions in Russia. He is prohibited from leaving Moscow and from conducting any political activity. In addition, the Russian authorities have frozen access to Bashar al-Assad’s financial assets.

A similar situation befell his brother, Maher Assad, whose asylum application is still pending.

Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin confirmed that he has not met with Assad since his arrival in Moscow, but plans to do so in the near future.

As OBOZ.UA reported:

Russia essentially forced Bashar al-Assad to flee his country . The Kremlin convinced the Syrian dictator that his regime’s defeat was inevitable.

The Russian government helped Assad escape from Syria through the Khmeimim airbase. In doing so, Moscow staged a “show” with a plane crash.

Arriving in Moscow, ousted Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad requested political asylum in the Russian Federation . The Kremlin granted him shelter “for humanitarian reasons.”

In his first statement since fleeing Syria, Assad said he had never considered stepping down or fleeing . He also boasted that he had “stood with the soldiers on the front lines,” “remained with his people,” and was “the guardian of the national project.”

However, according to media reports, back in 2018–2019, the Syrian authorities sent planes to Russia with millions of dollars and euros in cash. At that time, the country was experiencing an acute shortage of foreign currency, and reserves were almost zero.

Reuters reported that Bashar al-Assad confided in almost no one about his plans to flee the country when his rule collapsed. He did not even tell his brothers.

The degenerate little moskovian runt doesn’t have friends, it has pets. Assad is amongst many, like Victor Orban, Gerhard Schröder, Steven Seagal, Elon Musk, Fico, Le Pen, Sarah Wagenknecht, and others. Assad is now a caged pet.
BTW, the runt is Xi’s pet.

  2. So the poor woman wants to move back to civilisation? I say rip up her UK passport and let her rot in mafia land.
