President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine should not be expected to defend NATO member states while the country itself remains outside the Alliance.

Speaking about the security situation in Europe, Zelenskyy stressed that NATO members must fulfill their obligations to protect one another under the Alliance’s collective defense framework.

He specifically addressed the possibility of a security threat to Estonia, noting that the country should be defended by the other NATO member states.
