As a result of the government team’s visit to France, Ukraine will receive EUR 1.5 billion in aid

According to the results of the “Solidarity with the Ukrainian People” conference, EUR 1 billion was raised, and a number of agreements worth more than EUR 530 million were signed for the development of the digital sphere and the rapid reconstruction of infrastructure.

Ukraine will receive about 1.5 billion euros in aid as a result of the government team’s visit to France.

“About 1.5 billion euros in aid. These are the results of the government team’s visit to France. According to the results of the “Solidarity with the Ukrainian People” conference, 1 billion euros were raised. Part of them is equipment that will be transferred in the near future to restore the energy infrastructure of Ukraine. Also we have a number of agreements worth more than 530 million euros for the development of the digital sphere and the rapid reconstruction of the infrastructure,”  Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram channel .

In addition, according to Shmygal, a joint vision of military risk insurance for business was agreed upon, as well as the issue of the supply of air defense systems by France.

“The key issue is nuclear safety. With the head of the IAEA Grossi and President Macron, we are gradually moving in this direction,” he added.

As reported by UNIAN, Ukraine attracted about 1 billion dollars as a result of the international conference “Solidarity with the Ukrainian People”, which took place on December 13 in Paris.
