The Ukrainian Armed Forces have received the first drone from the United States as part of the Army of Drones project.

Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

“We received the first drone from the U.S. It is fast and durable. Therefore, it will definitely help our heroes from the Ukrainian Armed Forces to see the enemies better,” Fedorov said.

He thanked all people around the world who also understand the importance of Ukraine’s victory and contribute to it.

Fedorov called on everyone to join the Army of Drones project through the UNITED24 fundraising platform.

Ukrinform reported earlier that the first batch of unmanned aerial vehicles for the Ukrainian Armed Forces as part of the Army of Drones project had already left for the front line.

  1. They look to be more reconnaissance and I doubt they would be able to carry a hellfires, perhaps it could carry some small munitions.

    • With a weight of only half a pound, they won’t be carrying any munitions. Their camera is their weapon, and potent one since it will be backed by artillery.

  2. Would more like need grey eagles to carry the hellfire and possibly brimstone. But a swarm for surveillance is awesome. I didn’t realize the cam was that sharp when first reading this article. Will help send many more orcs to blue blazes.
