According to the results of June, the Ministry of Defense handed over about 100,000 body armor to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At present, protective equipment for approximately 6 brigades has been accumulated in the warehouses of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported by the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Motuzyanyk.

“Only from June 23 to 29, 22,000 body armor, more than 12,000 Kevlar helmets, more than 21,000 pairs of shoes, and almost 30,000 sets of military uniforms were received to provide units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, 17,000 body armor and 7,000 helmets are expected to be delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine soon, according to the signed contracts. These are the means of personal armor protection that are already on their way to the warehouses of the Logistics Forces, or are in the process of registration. That is, they will appear on the balance sheet in the coming days,” said Motuzyanyk.
