The bailiffs are looking for the property and money of the politician Alexei Navalny in order to recover 29 million rubles from him, which he must pay to businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin . Dmitry Aristov, director of the Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP), told Interfax about this.

“As far as I know, Navalny personally, apart from his only living quarters, has nothing. And in our country, according to the Civil Procedure Code, foreclosure on the only residential premises is not made. We will continue to look for money, property, ”said Aristov on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The chief bailiff of Russia noted that, despite the fact that Navalny is in a colony, the enforcement proceedings against him continue. According to Aristov, the service must comply with the court’s decision within three years. The FSSP website says that the writ of execution to recover 28,924,000 rubles from Navalny was March 20, 2020. The head of the FSSP said that the bailiffs collected part of the debt, but did not name the exact amount.

“During this time, everything that will appear at Navalny, of course, will be recovered,” Aristov said.

In August 2020, Yevgeny Prigozhin  bought out  the debt of the Anti-Corruption Foundation ( FBK ), the founder of the organization, Alexei Navalny, and an employee of the Lyubov Sobol Foundation in the amount of 87.7 million rubles from the “Moscow Schoolboy” food plant . According to a court decision,  they had to pay this amount  to the plant for the dissemination of inaccurate, according to the company, information that sounded in the  fund’s investigation about the outbreak of dysentery in Moscow kindergartens and schools in December 2018
