• The Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped the assault of Russian armored vehicles in the Liman direction, destroying a tank and 2 infantry fighting vehicles.

• The column was discovered by reconnaissance from the 81st Airmobile Brigade, and pilots from the SIGNUM battalion took part in destroying the enemy equipment.
  

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to restrain the invaders’ offensive in the Lyman direction. Recently, a column of enemy armored vehicles was destroyed there – a tank with a mine-clearing knife and 2 infantry fighting vehicles.

The corresponding video was released by fighters of the SIGNUM unit on Friday, July 11, Channel 24 reports. In the end, all the Russian equipment stopped due to damage.

How was the enemy assault stopped?

According to the fighters, the enemy launched an assault in the Lyman direction in the morning. The column of enemy armored vehicles was detected by reconnaissance of the 81st Separate Airmobile Slobozhansk Brigade.

They walked confidently. As if they were already celebrating victory. But not for long. The pilots of the SIGNUM battalion make decisions instantly. Drones fly into the sky,
– the defenders say.

The adjacent unit fired on the medium BMP, but SIGNUM hit the tank – the shaped charge hit the driver’s cabin. The last BMP tried to go around, but did not have time – it was caught by an FPV drone.

We will remind, over the past 24 hours, on July 11, 186 combat clashes were recorded on the front. The largest number was in the Pokrovsky (63) and Lymansky (34) directions. In the latter, the enemy tried to advance near the settlements of Novoyehorivka, Hrekivka, Novyi Mir, Karpivka, Seredne, Hlushchenkove, Kolodyazha and in the directions of Shandryholovy, Torsky and Serebryanka.
