Background:

  • The Financial Times reported that the United States had allegedly urged Ukraine not to hit Russian oil refineries and other energy infrastructure, as it was concerned that this could lead to higher energy prices and further escalation.
  • Olha Stefanishyna, Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, said that oil refineries in Russia are legitimate targets of Ukraine from a military point of view. According to her, Ukraine is acting in accordance with NATO standards in this case.
  • Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, denied that Washington is demanding that Ukraine stop attacks on Russia’s oil infrastructure.

  1. I am pleased that Ukraine hasn’t waited very long to give an answer to US demands not to attack mafia land’s largest source of income. It’s anyone’s guess how many Ukrainian lives each strike saves.
To fücking hell with high gas prices! If the West can’t do any better than acting like the Three Stooges, refuse this and that, and make ridiculous demands from Ukraine all the time, then this is the sort of strategy that the country is FORCED to use. ANY NATO country would do the very SAME thing in Ukraine’s place.
Stop the dirty politics. Stop being such greedy bastards. Stop being such panty pissing pansies. Stop doing things the half-ass way!

    • I personally am more than willing to pay a bit more for gas and products if that’s what it takes to support Ukraine continuing to wipe out mafialand’s refineries and winning this war.

      • That’s the only reasonable and responsible stance towards this minor problem, indeed. Kudos, Sir Bill! You should be in the effing NSC. That would result in a huge improvement of the advices given by that group!
        👋😎

  2. It appears that Ukraine just give the middle finger to the US. Keep up the good work guys, there are still plenty of targets to go for.

    • Yeah, exactly, Foccusser! That’s an obvious “up yours!” directed at the US’ National Security Council. Ukraine made it clear that the stabilization of gas prices in America are not a major concern for the country fighting for survival now. Rightly so! ✊🤨

    • I’m not convinced that the U.S. really suggested that Ukraine stop it’s campaign of reducing mafialand’s refineries to ashes. The report I saw was questionable with an unnamed source.
