Andy Burnham, the Mayor of Greater Manchester, has been a vocal supporter of Ukraine, championing humanitarian aid, refugee integration, and post-war reconstruction initiatives.
That is true.
One third of all British people, including even those from the Celtic fringe, have Anglo-Saxon blood. So Iām not sure what point you are making there. Especially as Starmer has done well for Ukraine, making us the second biggest provider of lethal aid.
Burnham is a Liverpudlian Catholic and like most Scousers has Irish blood.
Heās to the left of Starmer and that has already spooked the markets.
The good news is that as you say he is strongly pro-Ukraine and I think his main opponent Wes Streeting also is. āBig Angeā Rayner is way on the left and has a Marxist boyfriend, which is not cool, but unfortunately sheās another possibility.
Labour will be in power until 2029. Itās best that Starmer remains, but if he goes, the best for Ukraine and the UK would be Al Carns; ex military and very pro-Ukraine.
t ain’t quite so simple. First Burnham has to be elected to run in the local by-election. Then he has to win that election. If he loses that election, which is probable, that’s the end of that.

We’ll see. š
Labour is a huge mess at the moment.
And Burnham ready to fix it. Of course he still has some way to go but i support him. Starmer sucks IMHO.
