Andrzej Duda hails U.S. decision on Ukraine aid as key to halting Russian aggression

House of Representatives approval of aid package for Ukraine is “an important decision that will help stop Russian aggression,”  Polish President Andrzej Duda said on X on April 20.

“Approval of aid package for Ukraine by U.S. House of Representatives is an important decision that will help stop Russian aggression,” Duda said.

“This is a clear confirmation of US leadership among all the countries of the free world.”

U.S. House of Representatives voted to allocate $60 billion to Ukraine on April 20. A separate bill 8035, prepared by team of House Speaker Mike Johnson, was supported by 311 congressmen, 112 voted against, and one abstained.

The bill, numbered 8035 and spearheaded by House Speaker Mike Johnson’s team, garnered the support of 311 congressmen, with 112 opposing and one abstaining. For the legislation to take effect, it must be ratified by the Senate and signed into law by the U.S. President.

  2. Poland should put its money where its big stupid mouth is. It’s allowed the border to be blocked for almost as long as US aid was blocked.
