On the night of August 20, Ukrainian troops launched a new series of strikes on the oil, energy and port infrastructure of the aggressor country, Russia. In Nizhnekamsk, the Republic of Tatarstan, an industrial zone was attacked, where the TANEKO and TAIF-NK oil refining complexes are located.

In the Krasnodar Territory, the Tamangazneft oil terminal was targeted. This was reported by the monitoring Telegram channel Exilenova+.

Explosions in Russia

During the night, a massive drone raid was recorded on Nizhnyokamsk, during which the TANEKO refinery was attacked. A fire was observed at the facility and in the industrial zone, and restrictions were imposed on the operation of airports in the region.

According to preliminary data, 12 people died on the territory of the enterprise. The enterprise is regularly targeted by Ukrainian long-range UAVs due to its role in providing fuel and energy infrastructure and supplying fuel and lubricants to Putin’s troops.

Explosions also occurred in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation on the night of August 20. The combined drone attack targeted critical energy infrastructure.

The largest oil-loading complex in the south of the Russian Federation, Tamangazneft, was attacked. The facility is located in the port of Taman. According to OSINT channels, the attack was aimed at oil storage tanks and the port’s loading infrastructure.

As a reminder, dictator Vladimir Putin continues to assure Russians that there are allegedly no critical consequences from Ukrainian strikes on Russian logistical and infrastructure facilities and there will be none.

As OBOZ.UA reported, the Russian Federation estimated the losses of Wildberries and over 400,000 affected Russian sellers at 600–800 billion rubles, and the destroyed goods alone could have a cost of up to 300 billion rubles.
