Eyewitnesses reported hearing sounds similar to drones flying by.

In the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation, a fire is raging on the territory of the Ilsky oil refinery . The fire was preceded by a series of explosions.

ASTRA reports this  . It is noted that the fire is raging in the Seversky district of the Krasnodar region. Before this, eyewitnesses heard sounds similar to the flight of drones. 

The regional operational headquarters noted that the fire occurred on the night of February 9 at about 2:00. 

“Before 3 a.m., the open fire was promptly eliminated by the plant’s services. There were no casualties. Operational and emergency services continue to work on site to complete the liquidation of the emergency and establish the causes of the incident,” the statement says. 

Other incidents in the Russian Federation

On the night of February 9, a fire raged in the Russian capital . In the north of Moscow, fire engulfed the roof of a high-rise building. Hundreds of people were evacuated. 

It was reported that the fire area is about 4 thousand square meters. Even aviation was brought in to extinguish the fire. In Moscow public pages they wrote that two Ka-32 helicopters were working on the spot. 

Also on February 8,  a powerful fire broke out in the Perm region of the Russian Federation . After an explosion on a gas pipeline, a freight train caught fire there. It was noted that the fire spread to residential buildings. Three buildings burned to the ground.
