The defense forces continue their campaign of strikes on temporarily occupied Crimea and the occupiers’ military facilities located on the peninsula. On the night of July 5, the defenders struck the “Gvardiyske” airfield, one of the key ones for the invaders.
A number of strikes were also carried out in other occupied territories of Ukraine, including bridges and enemy ammunition depots. The results of the strikes were reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
An airfield in Crimea was hit.
On the night of Sunday, July 5, soldiers of the Defense Forces once again struck the “Gvardiyske” airfield, located 13 km north of Simferopol.
“The extent of the damage caused is being clarified,” the General Staff noted.
They recalled that the affected airfield is one of the key ones for the Russian Federation on the temporarily occupied Ukrainian peninsula.
“It is used to base operational-tactical and naval aircraft, provide combat missions, logistics, and technical maintenance of aviation equipment,” the report states.
Other targets hit by the Defense Forces on the Ukrainian TOT
As part of the campaign to cut off enemy logistics, the automobile bridge over the Gruzky Yalanchyk River in the Guselnykovo area and the automobile bridge over the Kalmius River in the Staromaryivka area of Donetsk region were hit that night.
“The enemy uses these facilities to transfer personnel, weapons, ammunition, and logistical resources,” the General Staff explained the choice of targets.
The “demilitarization” of the occupiers on Ukrainian soil also continued. During the night, three enemy ammunition depots were hit at once – in the areas of Makiivka in the Donetsk region, Dovzhansk in the Luhansk region, and Preobrazhenka in the Kherson region.
There are at least two Preobrazhenkas in the occupied part of the Kherson region. The General Staff did not specify near which one the damage was carried out.
“The Defense Forces will continue to systematically implement measures aimed at stopping the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine!” – the General Staff assured.
As OBOZ.UA reported, it became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an airstrike on the Pokrovska neighborhood, where enemy Rubicon instructors were working. The defenders shared video footage of the attack.
Crimea is being crushed. Soon there will only be a few low ranking military left on the peninsula. The public, officials and high ranking military are already back in mafia land.
