New Pantsir Air Defense Tower Near Moscow Oil Refinery

A tower for the Pantsir air defense system was recently erected near the Moscow Oil Refinery in the Kapotnya area, but the SAM itself has probably not yet been installed on it.

Satellite photos indicate that construction of the tower began in mid-May in the Kuzminka area, about a kilometer from the oil refinery.

The photo from May 14 shows that the structure was already ready, but the “Pantsir” itself is not visible in it.
