Defense Express analyst Serhiy Zgurets believes that ammunition from new military aid packages from the United States is already being delivered to the frontline
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
“The supply of various types of weapons from the United States can come from the Pentagon’s stockpiles and be on the battlefield quite quickly. However, even such a fast pace of supply takes place within a few weeks. We also remember that when the US aid package was being prepared, there was information that certain weapons were already in Poland and Germany and would be quickly redirected to Ukraine. This concerned primarily ammunition. Therefore, I think that ammunition of various calibers has already begun to be delivered to the front line and is affecting the nature of the fighting,” explained Zgurets.
According to the analyst, military equipment from the new US aid packages should also appear on the front line soon.
“Now the intensity of our artillery use has increased significantly. This confirms the assumption that ammunition is already being actively sent to the front. As for such models as Bradley, Hummer or Patriot systems, the supply of these types of weapons will take place at a longer pace,” he added.
On May 1, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said that the United States would provide Ukraine with “as many ATACMS missiles as we can” and called on partners to provide Patriot systems.

We stopped sending aid to Ukraine around October 2023. The Czechs found 800,000 rounds of artillery ammo in February 2024. It’s now May 2024 and OUR AMMO is already reaching the frontlines. Where is the European ammo???

Well, true, Mr. Ofp. However, the US ammo had been produced in recent months and got stacked up in warehouses (probably in Europe, shortening the transport), ready for delivery. The ammo of the Czech initiative, on the other hand, reportedly comes from old storage in countries that still are somewhat friendly with Russia. So, those governments would like some discretion, in order to not become targets of Putin’s fury. Apart from Nato members once again delaying their financial support, that’s probably the main problem. As we have discussed here before, we can’t even be certain if this ain’t a giant fraud, with corrupt officials and FSB agents laughing all the way to the bank. All we can do is wait for news. ☹
It doesn’t matter if the Czech initiative is real or a giant fake, Mr. Gray. Fact is that Ukraine has hardly received any artillery ammo in the months we didn’t send anything. Europe is in no hurry, so it seems. It sits on massive amounts of war material, including badly needed air defense. As a reminder, this war is right next door and not in far-away Africa or South America. Ukraine is geographically closer to Germany than Spain.

Imponderables: 3700 of these have been built. We don’t know how many of those are the max. 390 km range, we don’t know how many Ukraine will receive and how many are being manufactured at present for Ukraine’s future use.
1000 of these deployed as artfully as we know the Ukrainians can, will be a great equalizer.

I must have missed the part where Denys Davydov suggested Ukrainians are waiting for Tomahawks to destroy the illegal Kerch Bridge. Personally I think Ukraine will have the Neptune capable before that happens.
Well Ukraine will have to wait until hell freezes over before they get Taurus missiles. I also doubt that Biden will do anything to upset putler. Ukraine will need to destroy this bridge themselves.

Storms and ATACM’s have the range, but they seem to be divided as to what level of damage they can inflict.
It’s very possible I missed the reference Sir Scradge. It would make the job a bit easier and have greater impact if Ukraine DID have Tomahawks and Taurus, but if we’re waiting around for them rashists will have the rail line done before discussions and debates are done.
