The overthrow of the Putin regime in Russia is quite possible due to global sanctions for invading Ukraine.
This opinion was expressed by the former commander of the US Army in Europe, Ben Hodges, in an interview with RBC-Ukraine .
According to him, Putin’s entourage is unlikely to want to lose even more.
“I think it’s possible. I don’t think the people around Putin want to commit suicide or lose more than they’ve already lost. We need to work carefully and comprehensively to dissuade Russian families from sending their sons to the military registration and enlistment offices on April 1st.” , he noted.
The day before, Hodges said that the Russians were close to the point where they could no longer continue the attack , but subject to pressure from the West over the next 10 days.
