Why Crimea is Russia's Key Trophy in the Ongoing Conflict

Moscow clings to the peninsula as the main trophy of war.

Moscow and Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin himself will hold on to temporarily occupied Crimea to the last, stated Robert Brovdi (Madyar) , commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Force . He asserted that the Ukrainian peninsula is Russia’s “main trophy of war,” even if it remains an “island.”

“At the same time, Crimea as a springboard for attacks on Ukraine is already a military absurdity. What follows is a complete air defense collapse, the destruction of the remaining fleet, the shutdown of the shadow fleet, TOTAL resource and logistical depletion, a tourist default, an energy desert, a transport lockdown, and so on. Feed them, bunker grandpa, with subsidies – but don’t dream of controlling them: the way things were will never be,” Madyar emphasized on Telegram .

Afterwards, Brovdi apologized to the Ukrainians still in the occupied territories due to “constant anxiety, closed bridges and roads, noise, and stress.” He recommended they stay away from military installations.

“Crimea will bring Moscow down – this is the breaking point, the needle of Koshchei the Withered Rib is hidden under our noses. All dictatorships collapse suddenly – remember any example. Today, Moscow’s Crimea is lagging,” he concluded.
