On the territory of the Donetsk region there was an emergency shutdown of boilers. 

This was announced by the chairman of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavel Kirilenko on his page on the social network Facebook . He explained that the reason for this was the damage to the main gas pipeline in the Kharkov region. 

“All boiler houses that operate on gas have suspended their work. Now repair teams have been formed to urgently identify and examine the emergency site and carry out restoration work. How quickly the repairmen will be able to restore the operation of the gas pipeline will depend on the nature of the damage and its scale,” the statement says. message

Kirilenko added that the progress of work, the launch of boiler houses and the restoration of gas and heat supply in the region will be reported additionally.

Earlier, military expert Oleg Zhdanov said that  a humanitarian catastrophe could await the occupied Donetsk .

It is known that so far only  up to 25% of high-rise buildings in Mariupol  are provided with centralized heating. And in the fall, it was reported that  about 150 people die in the city every week .

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine says that the Russians want to reach the borders of the Donetsk region  before the end of the year.

It was also previously reported that “Kadyrovtsy” terrorized the residents of Donetsk and Melitopol .
