Politician Alexei Navalny has filed a lawsuit to protect honor and dignity against the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov. The claim went to the Presnensky Court, the date of consideration has not yet been set.
As the press service of the court told Open Media , Navalny asks to declare Peskov’s statement that “CIA specialists” are working with the opposition as untrue and defaming honor, dignity and business reputation.
The politician asks the court to oblige Peskov to publish the refutation on the official website of the presidential administration no later than 10 days from the date of entry into force of the court decision.
The reason for the claim is the publication of TASS “Peskov said that Navalny’s accusations against Putin were inspired by the CIA, they are unacceptable . “
