Air defense systems that terrorized Kharkiv from the territory of Russia were destroyed

It was possible to defeat them thanks to the lifting of the ban on the use of partner weapons for attacks on Russia.

The S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems used by the enemy to attack Kharkiv were destroyed in the Belgorod region (Russia) .

As reported by Army inform, this was said by the Chief of Staff – Deputy Commander of Kharkiv OTU, Colonel Viktor Solimchuk at a briefing. He noted that Ukrainian frontline units receive certain weapons and ammunition as part of aid from Western partners. “And the main thing is that we received permission to use Western weapons on military facilities located on the territory of Russia,” Solimchuk added.

According to him, units of the Defense Forces in the Kharkiv direction also inflict fire damage by manpower and early detection equipment, that is, when they cross the border.

Solymchuk noted that the Defense Forces need anti-aircraft defense equipment to defeat aerial bomb-carrying aircraft with planning and adjustment modules that are launched from a long distance.

“There is a need for high-precision missile weapons, with the ability to strike at the entire depth of the enemy’s troops – both at control points, and at air defense, and at concentration areas, and at other important military facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation,” – emphasized the deputy commander of the OTU “Kharkiv”.

Destruction of S-300/400 complexes in the Belgorod region

SBU reserve colonel, military counterintelligence expert Mykhailo Prytula said that the destruction of the S-300/400 systems in the Belgorod region is a consequence of the US’s permission to strike the Russian Federation with Western weapons. He noted that S-300 anti-aircraft missiles were the main means of destroying Kharkiv .

The expert noted that after the destruction of the anti-aircraft missile systems, the enemy’s tactics will change, because the enemy has a desire to destroy Kharkiv, but the reality is that now it will be quite difficult for them to do anything with Kharkiv thanks to Western high-tech weapons.
