Air defense neutralize 44 out of 49 enemy UAVs at night, there are hits at 6 locations

On the night of Wednesday, October 1, russian troops launched 49 drones, one anti-ship and four ballistic missiles over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to neutralize 46 UAVs.

This was announced by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of October 1 (from 08:30 pm on September 30), the enemy attacked with 49 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type and drones of other types from the directions: Millerovo, Bryansk – russian federation, Chauda – TOT of Crimea, with the anti-ship missile Oniks (launch area – TOT of Crimea), as well as four ballistic missiles Iskander-M / KN-23 (launches from Oryol Oblast – russian federation).

“According to preliminary data, as of 09:30 am, air defenses shot down/suppressed 44 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type and drones of other types in the north, east and center of the country,” the message says.

Hits of 5 missiles and enemy UAVs were recorded at 6 locations.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of September 27, the russians launched 115 drones over the territory of Ukraine, and air defense forces managed to neutralize 97 of them.
