His tenant, Nizami, is taking stock of the damage. The man insists that the most important thing is that there are no victims.
“More than half a million in damages. Yesterday they received the goods, destroyed expensive refrigerators, two air conditioners, one here, the other there. But thank God, everyone is healthy. War…” says Nizami.
In total, two pavilions on the market were destroyed, another 10 were damaged. Now the rubble is being dismantled there, the tenants are taking out the surviving goods. It is interesting that the food market works literally around the corner. There, several pavilions were also damaged, mostly the ceiling collapsed and glass flew out.
It also happened to the private sector on Agronomichnaya. Here, two houses were completely destroyed, another 4 were damaged.
The drone hovered just over a private house, next to the kitchen. Mistress Olena and her friend are barely holding back their tears. The house cannot be restored. Since the morning, her relatives have been helping to collect the surviving things. A small white dog is running through the yard among the scattered stones of the tortoise shell. A fresh scratch can be seen under his eye – damage from flying glass.
According to a resident of one of the houses located close to the epicenter of the explosion, the fire was very strong, and it did not occur to him and his neighbors to put it out on their own.
“Well, how can I tell you, it’s impossible to be ready for this. The hum, the hum of this “shaheed”, the blow. It’s fast, fractions of a second. And that’s it, smoke, fire, everyone is shouting. Thank God, everyone turned out to be alive,” says Petro.
In addition, according to official information, 25 garages, 2 cars, 9 vans and a gas station were damaged or destroyed. Two residents of Odessa were injured.
