AFU hit russian ammunition storage sites and boats in southern Ukraine: details

On the southern front, Ukrainian soldiers inflicted losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian invaders the day before, January 4. Enemy dugouts, observation posts, and ammunition depots were hit, enemy boats, artillery systems, electronic warfare systems, and over three dozen vehicles and armored vehicles were destroyed.

The Russian army also lost 74 soldiers. The results of combat work for the day were reported by the Southern Defense Forces.

“The Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine continue to inflict fire damage on the enemy’s deployment locations, its firing positions and rear areas,” the message states.

In just 24 hours, on January 4, Ukrainian soldiers on the southern front “denazified” 74 occupiers.

In addition, the Russian army lost:

  • 8 artillery systems, including “Hyacinth-B”
  • 31 units of automobile and armored vehicles
  • 1 motorcycle
  • 2 boats
  • 6 Starlink satellite terminals
  • CCTV camera
  • 2 electronic warfare complexes.

Also, during the day, the defenders hit 4 enemy dugouts and personnel residences, 3 observation posts of the occupiers, 2 ammunition storage sites, 3 UAV launch sites, 7 UAV control antennas, and 2 communication antennas. 

Let us remind you that in total, the Defense Forces neutralized another 1,730 occupiers on the front line the day before.

Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed 7 tanks, 26 armored combat vehicles, 25 artillery systems, 91 operational-tactical level UAVs, 97 units of automotive equipment, and 2 units of special equipment of the invaders.
