AFU Colonel: Not Only Ukrainian Special Services Attack Russia

Who burned down the UAV production facility in Izhevsk?

Every day new explosions and fires strike Russian cities. “Bangs” increasingly occur not only in the regions bordering Ukraine, but also much further.

Military expert Roman Svitan, the reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in reserve and a pilot-instructor, told who could be involved in such special operations in a comment for 24 Channel.

Over the past day, the Russian authorities reported the attack of 33 drones. Fires covered an oil depot in Kursk, and the former mall in Izhevsk which was transferred for the manufacture of unmanned aerial vehicles.

“The Russians boasted that they began to produce ‘Lancets’ in shopping malls – they were too boastful,” Svitan commented.

He suggested that Ukrainian drones were unlikely to reach Izhevsk, which is east of Kazan. And, probably, this should be done by those dissatisfied with the Putin regime, who are supported by the Ukrainian special services.

“It could have been the Mossad, because some types of Israeli drones were stolen by the Russians during various hostilities. In particular, as they did in the case with the Lancet drone, it is possible that the Mossad could help Ukraine, because it concerned them directly,” Svitan said.

  1. “In particular, as they did in the case with the Lancet drone, it is possible that the Mossad could help Ukraine, because it concerned them directly,”

    That would be great!
Ukraine’s special forces and intelligence forces have proven to be very good, no doubt some of the best in the world. So, working together with Mossad, also one of the very best units in the world, would be a nightmare for mafia land.

    • Referring to the David Patrikarakos article and the “masked soldiers”, I consulted my friend, who for the past 10 years has held down a full time professional job, whilst spending every other waking hour helping the army with a small band of dedicated friends; mainly women, all from the professions. They are all constantly tired and stressed. She sent me a long and emotional email, most of which is of course private and deeply personal. She says:

“I cry a lot because there is a lot of grief around and my soul cannot endure all that.
Then I pull myself together and with new strength continue to help the army.”

In answer to my question about impressment, she confirms it. It is low key and would not be visible to the casual observer for fear of causing alarm. She used an old Soviet word: “commissariats”, to describe these men who are out and about: what we would call in old English; The Press Gang.

In fact she and her friends are angry because the finest representatives of the nation are fighting to the last drop of blood, whilst many men hide or just run away. She says she and her friends are doing much more to help the country than these men.

She confirms that Ukraine is suffering from a chronic shortage of fighting men and there is no alternative to the press gang.

      • I don’t know what to say about this, except that I’ve never seen nor heard about it. And, I’m not a casual observer. My eyes and ears are constantly at work when I’m in Ukraine. I virtually absorb every detail. My job demands me to spot minute details, so this carries over to everything that interests me. I usually don’t write about every fart that I notice when I publish my travel reports, by the way.
I’m not saying that this is not possible or not happening, but I doubt that this is a widespread phenomenon. Certainly the masses of military aged men that I see in the country also don’t seem to be at all concerned.
One thing I’ve noticed that I really don’t want to discuss publicly, and that’s the many foul rumors that are circulating in the country. Their sources are mafia land. Just saying. Maybe I will write about it on our private channel.

        • My friend is very well connected. There IS a chronic shortage of troops and something MUST be done about it. Press gangs are a part of it.
In WW2, Britain had a similar size population to Ukraine now. The army alone had 4 million: most of whom were drafted. Ukraine has to do it to survive.
She also confirms what we know already : Avdiivka was lost because of ammo shortages and the failure of Europe to replace essential American supplies. The magaputler cult are murderers by proxy.

    • Right, Mr. Ofp, simply the truth. But this won’t happen under Netanyahu’s leadership. And I suspect the reason for this ain’t any farfetched fear about the Russian ally Syria eventually attacking Israel, in retaliation (that would be the end of Assad and he knows that), but rather the large number of pro-Putin Russian migrants there. Unscrupulous and manipulating Bibi won’t go against his own voters’ wishes, he needs every single one of them now. So, sorry, fuhgedaboutit.
