Former US President Donald Trump, who is again running for the White House from the Republicans, spoke about today’s negotiations with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyi in New York.
In his Truth Social social network, he wrote that he had a “great meeting” with him, and if he is elected president, the war between Russia and Ukraine “will end quickly.” Trump noted:
“If not, this war will never end and will enter the Third World War phase. Ms. Harris will never be able to end the war and she has not been able to. Nothing will change except that the death and destruction will only get worse.”
War in Ukraine – Trump’s position
On Thursday, during a meeting with Zelensky, Harris hinted at Trump’s proposal to start negotiations with Russia on territorial concessions and said that such an approach was tantamount to capitulation.
The former president does not explain exactly how he proposes to end the war, but Western politicians and experts fear that he intends to force Ukraine to make territorial concessions or freeze the conflict. Kyiv strongly opposes such proposals.
Following the meeting with Zelenskyi, Trump said that the war in Ukraine should end justly. When asked whether he had changed his opinion after the conversation with the Ukrainian leader, Trump replied that he “learned a lot” but did not change his opinion:
“President Zelenskyi and I want this war to end. And it ended justly. I think it will happen at the right time,” he added.

Very interesting, everyone seems to think they know Trump’s position…..except Trump. Propaganda from either direction is still….propaganda.
Did you miss where he said that Ukraine should have ceded territory to appease Moscow?
Red, as I see it, no one here is making propaganda. We are basing our opinions on what Trump and his allies are saying. We are noting sucking his negative approach regarding Ukraine, mafia land, and this war out of our thumbs.
If you have something that reflects a positive attitude from Trump, then you are more than welcome to post it here. I’ve yet to see anything. To me, it seems as if you are secretly hoping that he will be good for Ukraine but isn’t announcing it, or something like that. This is grasping at straws.
I, for one, won’t base my decision on election day on a whimsical hope. Unless something comes along to make me change my mind with a good feeling, I will choose the lesser evil, and this is Harris.
