After repairs, the route to Boryspil airport was opened (photo)

On the M-03 road on the 18-kilometer section leading from Kyiv to Boryspil International Airport, road repair works have been completed, and traffic is now open in both directions.

Yuriy Golyk previously published information about this on his Facebook page, the National Industrial Portal reports   with reference to  CTS .

At the same time, he noted that some work on the installation of lighting “and other nuances” is still ongoing.

It should be noted that repair works on this section of the M-03 road started on June 22. Since then, the road was partially blocked – initially traffic in both directions was carried out in the direction of Kiev. After the traffic on the repaired right lane was opened, the left lane was closed.

Prior to that, the last reconstruction of the road in the direction of Boryspil Airport was carried out in 2004. Since then, only maintenance has been carried out on the road.

  1. For anyone flying out of Boryspil, make sure you arrive least 4 hours before your flight. The queues to get through security and passport control are horrendous. The airport have drastically reduced staff to save money during this bat virus epidemic. Also make sure you have a boarding pass with you, else you will not be allowed in the airport.
