“After heavy fighting for Lisichansk, the Ukrainian defense forces were forced to withdraw from their positions and lines. Given the multiple superiority of the Russian occupation forces in artillery, aviation, multiple launch rocket systems, ammunition and personnel, the continuation of the defense of the city would lead to fatal consequences,” the message says.

It is noted that in order to save the lives of Ukrainian defenders, a decision was made to withdraw.

“We continue the fight. Unfortunately, steel will and patriotism are not enough for success – material and technical resources are needed. The defenders of the Lugansk region and other regions of our country heroically fulfill their civil and military duties,” the General Staff noted.

  1. It was inevitable. Ukrainian forces are wise to retreat when the situation has become untenable. Once the heavy weapons and their trained crews arrive in sufficient numbers, they will go on the counteroffensive. But, you need good troops for this, so it was a good decision.

      • They made sure that the other cockroaches went forward to get killed, while they get to parade like the cheerleaders that they are.
