An American billionaire is demanding the resignation of the British prime minister and a prison sentence for one of the ministers.

After interfering in the election campaign in Germany, American billionaire Elon Musk launched an information attack on the government of Keir Starmer in the UK. As usual, Musk used his own social network X.

In a series of posts , the billionaire accused Starmer of failing to bring to justice ethnic gangs that kidnapped and raped children when the current prime minister was still Britain’s chief prosecutor from 2008-13.

Musk also called for current security minister Jess Phillips to be jailed for rejecting calls for a public inquiry into the 20-year-old child abuse scandal in Oldham.

“In the UK, serious crimes like rape require the approval of the Crown Prosecution Service for the police to charge suspects. Who was the Chairman of the Crown Prosecution Service when rapist rings were allowed to exploit young girls without facing justice? Keir Starmer,” Musk wrote.

The American billionaire also expressed support for the leader of the British party Reform UK, Nigel Farage, who takes an anti-immigrant position.

As the British publication Independent writes , it was during the time when Starmer headed the British prosecution service that several trials of ethnic gangs of rapists took place. Starmer also launched a reform of the prosecution service to facilitate the procedures for investigating cases of sexual abuse of children.

In addition, responding to calls to build a new Tesla factory in Scotland, Musk said “very few companies” would be willing to invest in the UK under the current government.

A spokesman for the British prime minister declined to comment on most of Musk’s recent statements, but noted that the country had received £63 billion in additional investment during the new government’s tenure.

“The government is unashamedly committed to a pro-growth, pro-business approach,” the spokesman said.

Musk meddles in European politics

As UNIAN reported, in December, Elon Musk began publicly commenting on Germany’s domestic politics. In particular, he expressed support for the right-wing populist party Alternative for Germany. After the terrorist attack in Magdeburg, Musk called Chancellor Olaf Scholz an “incompetent fool” and called on him to resign.

German politicians expressed dissatisfaction with the American’s interference in Germany’s internal affairs. Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck even suggested that Musk was deliberately playing into the hands of the European right in order to weaken Europe.
