A thick column of black smoke rising into the sky was spotted near Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport.
The fire is located in a forest north of the airport, near a fuel and lubricants depot.
This was reported by the russian media outlet ASTRA on its Telegram channel.
An OSINT analyst for the publication pinpointed the location of the fire. According to ASTRA, the fire broke out near the “TZK Sheremetyevo” fuel and lubricants depot.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin stated that 11 drones were allegedly shot down as they approached the russian capital.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the morning of October 31, drones attacked the “Bashneft-UNPZ” oil refinery in Ufa (Republic of Bashkortostan). A fire broke out on the refinery’s premises.
