The fact that Elon Musk called the German Federal President an “anti-democratic tyrant” has provoked clear opposition in Berlin.

US billionaire Elon Musk’s sharp personal attack on Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier has sparked discontent in German politics. Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser (SPD) told the “Süddeutsche Zeitung” on Thursday: “If the Federal President of our democratic state is described as an anti-democratic tyrant, then that is not only complete nonsense, but also a defamation that must be very clearly rejected.”

Faeser continued, “one should not confuse some discussions on Platform X with what really concerns the vast majority of people in our country.” She was certain “that the statements made by Mr.Musk provoke head-shaking and rejection among the vast majority of those who even deal with it.”

Musk had written on his platform X: “Steinmeier is an anti-democratic tyrant.” He should be ashamed. The billionaire is considered a close advisor to the designated US president Donald Trump.

Von Notz calls for debate on the power of social media

Elon Musk has “obviously enjoyed destabilising liberal democracies and strengthening politically extreme right-wing parties and politicians,” said Green Party deputy Konstantin von Notz the “Süddeutsche”.

Von Notz called for a debate about the power of social platforms: After the Nazi regime, Germany established a system that was intended to prevent the “coordination of public discourse” by individual parties or financially powerful actors. Now there are attempts to destroy this system, warned the Green politician.

An online poll, conducted by Web.de. On the left of the gauge, 16% say, I have great respect fpr Elon Musk. On the right, 79% say, I’m not a fan of the Tesla boss.

  1. Calling Steinmeier an anti-democratic tyrant is clearly a most moronic statement, which isn’t in the least surprising, seeing that Elon Musk is clearly a complete moron. Anyone who knows Steinmeier, knows that he is as far away to being an anti-democrat tyrant as Jimmy Carter was.

An understatement. Muskovy is either a nazi sympathizer or a nazi. Not much difference anyway.
Greens in most countries are Marxist “watermelons”; green on the outside….. US Greens boss Jill Stein is a good example of that and an open putlerite.
But in Germany the Greens are staunchly pro-Ukraine.

    • I used to hate the greens, but they are cub scouts compared to dangerous shitheads like musk and the rest of the maga gangsters.
