According to the military, Russia has a huge shortage of soldiers.
The Russian military is not ready to fight, they are used as cannon fodder . That is why the occupiers are forced to bring the so-called “African Corps” to the front, while this will have no prospects on the battlefield. General of the Army of Ukraine, former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Mykola Malomuzh said this on the Espresso broadcast.
He refuted the information of Western special services and mass media that Russia has an unlimited amount of forces and means.
“Today, there are about 1,350,000 military personnel in Russia. Up to half a million are fighting on the territory of our state. We also have approximately 1,100,000 military personnel. That is, it is equality, because less forces are needed when conducting a defense operation. An assessment of the fire capabilities of units is currently being carried out, which can be used. That’s why Russia has a huge shortage of military personnel,” the military said.
According to him, since the Russian army has already lost more than half a million of its soldiers since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, the Russians are forced to attract the “African Corps” to the front.
“The Russian military is unprepared. They are not ready to fight, are untrained, are often illiterate and are used as cannon fodder. … Therefore, the Russians are forced to take Cubans, Nepalese, the “African Corps”, etc. But what kind of corps is this? The Wagnerians prepared in in the six countries of Africa, there are local Africans trained by the Wagnerites, but this is a completely different situation. They performed police or terrorist functions in relation to their opponents in Africa a battle with full-scale firepower from our side, which destroys tens or even hundreds of such teams that will arrive in Ukraine,” says Malomuzh.
He emphasized that the “recruits” were very mistaken to come to Ukraine.
“This is not Africa, but a real battle, with huge losses for them. I think there are no prospects, even with the skills that Wagner’s fighters taught them,” the general predicts.
“African Corps” in Ukraine: what is known
During the offensive on Vovchansk, Russia used the “African Corps” . This was reported by British intelligence. According to her, these units were most likely previously deployed in Syria, Libya, Burkina Faso and Niger.
The “African Corps” of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, created in December 2023, has more than 2,000 regular soldiers and officers, as well as experienced mercenaries, many of whom previously served in the Wagner group.

Right, Mr. Facts. To push those African veterans into the meat grinder, too, is an act of pure desperation. Those mercenaries’ combat experience in Libya, Mali, Niger etc is very different from that needed at the frontline in Ukraine. And by withdrawing them from Africa, Putin is essentially giving up his strategy of expanding Russian power there. After the economic sanctions and the strengthening of Nato, that’s the third strategic failure of the allegedly smart dictator. So far, his effing imperial fantasies have brozght Russia nothing but huge expenses, humiliation, destruction and death. And to send the rest of the formerly impressive Wagner army to hell won’t change that. Putin’s star is sinking fast and his recent purge may be the reaction to a brewing mutiny inside the army. By getting rid of the generals, he has bought himself some time, but there’s no chance for a happy end for him. If he continues with this idiotic war, he won’t survive it. 😈

I could vomit when I hear about the rat’s purported intelligence. In my view, he’s never done anything that could be considered smart. His successes sit squarely on the foundation of intimidation of Western leaders. It’s not a matter of intelligence on his part, but rather a matter of complete stupidity and cowardice of leaders from the major Western nations, and this during the past two decades up to this very day.
He should have taken Crimea and good. The war unleashed in Donbas proves that Putin is not the smartest horse in RuSSia.
I agree 100%. If he had stopped with Crimea, then he would be considered a brilliant guy. But, then he did an Adolf Hitler number and so today his army is a junk army, his economy is doing the Titanic, his refineries are going up in smoke, he’s a slave of bat virus land, and his navy is fleeing the peninsula, being chased away by a country WITHOUT a navy! The roaches couldn’t even hold an island.
