On the night of November 6, explosions were heard in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. After them, Russians saw several fire centers.
In particular, the Afipsky refinery, which is capable of processing over 6 million tons of oil per year, was likely under attack. The attack was reported on the Exilenova+ Telegram channel.

At 04:54 on the morning of November 6, a message appeared on Exilenova+: “Afipsky Oil Refinery in Krasnodar Krai is likely under attack.”

The channel’s authors also posted a photo, allegedly from Krasnodar, showing at least several fire areas.
“Fires in Krasnodar after a series of explosions,” the channel’s authors captioned the photo.

Afipsky Refinery is a large oil refinery located near the village of Afipsky. The design capacity of the oil refining enterprise is 6.25 million tons per year.

The enterprise produces gas gasoline, diesel fuel, gas condensate distillates, vacuum gas oil, fuel oil, sulfur. In August 2021, the plant management also announced the production of Euro-5 diesel fuel in 2023 after the implementation of the investment agreement on modernization.
The plant’s products are mainly exported.

The enterprise has repeatedly been hit by Ukrainian drones. Arrivals and fires were recorded after attacks on May 31, 2023, February 9, 2024, December 14, 2025, January 21, March 14, April 11, July 14, and August 25, 2025.
In addition to the Krasnodar Territory, neighboring Adygea may also have been under attack on the night of November 6, although Krasnodar may also be in the photo.

As OBOZ.UA reported, the day before, on November 5, a large-scale fire broke out on a main gas pipeline in the Kemerovo region of Russia. According to preliminary information, it allegedly occurred due to a depressurization of the pipeline.
