
Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, more than 8 million Ukrainians have left for the countries of the European Union, but most of them have already returned home.
This was stated by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, at a briefing, European Truth reports .
“More than 8 million Ukrainians have arrived in the countries of the European Union since the beginning of the war. But there is also good news from both sides. Many, many Ukrainians have already returned. About 5 million have already returned to Ukraine,” Von der Leyen said.
“Of course, we want to give as much support as possible to our Ukrainian friends who need help. But we also know that they want to return home again, rebuild Ukraine and turn it into a prosperous state,” she added.

This is great news. I’m sick of hearing the Krembots proclaiming Ukrainians will never return home even though I was sure they would. Ukrainians are not like the north Africans or south Americans.
