A video has appeared of Russian helicopters being shot down near Kyiv on the first day of the great war.

The calculation worked successfully, said the commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

“Shaitan” is the commander of an anti-aircraft platoon of MANPADS of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade. His squad was one of the first to meet enemy helicopters with landing troops moving through the Kyiv Sea. Then the calculation worked successfully,” says the caption to the video.

According to “Shaitan”, this day was terrible and sad for everyone.

“We were with our brothers-in-arms on combat duty to defend our state. We were destined to meet the first helicopters that were passing through the Kyiv Sea. Thanks to the well-coordinated squad and the hard work of our guys, we worked on them. To our delight, there were two hits, we sank two helicopters . That’s where they belong!” – he said in the video.
