“A united Ukrainian-Russian army will stand at Poland’s borders.”

May 20, 2024

Russia has been pouring all of its imperial might into taking the next village in the Donbas, but some are still claiming that Ukraine will lose Kharkiv before the year is out, and Odesa by mid-2025. Among these voices is none other than former oligarch and political prisoner, now self-styled leader of the Russian opposition, Mikhail Khodorkovsky

  1. If Ukraine loses this war, Europe will be in trouble. It’s as simple as that.

      • Wasn’t he referring to how the situation would be if Ukraine didn’t receive western aid? Like as a hypothetical? Only a snippet of his speech was shown, but he seemed to be warning of a Russia unchecked. If the west doesn’t step up the military assistance, it will absolutely be a doomsday scenario.

  2. A possible context issue here. The presenter runs a Solovyov nazi puke fest and follows it with Khodorkovsky, who is strongly pro-democracy/pro-Ukraine. The viewer might conclude that his clip is kremkrapp, whereas he is extrapolating the outcome of a putler victory in an exceptionally chilling way.

    • Well, I think that anyone who knows Khodorskovsky would certainly know what he meant.
