In the coming months, it will be problematic to restore the full operation of this enterprise, which is important for the Russian military-industrial complex, which means a disruption in the fulfillment of defense orders, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense noted.

The consequences of the shutdown of the Oskol Electrometallurgical Plant named after Ugarov are significant for the Russian invaders.

This was reported by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrey Yusov on the air of an information telethon. In particular, he was asked about the drone strike on electrical substations in the Belgorod region, as a result of which the Oskol Electrometallurgical Plant stopped.

“In fact, good news… We are talking about one of the key enterprises for the Russian military-industrial complex, whose main customers, recently, are the military – the production of military vehicles, military armored vehicles, and everything that uses, including metal. Yes, this is the only full-cycle metallurgical enterprise in Russia. It is stopped. And, let’s say, in the coming months, resuming work in full will be problematic there. This means complications and disruption of the fulfillment of defense orders, and accordingly, supply chains,” Yusov noted.

According to him, “this is definitely good news for all those in the world who oppose illegal Russian aggression and genocidal war.”
