The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to regain control of every meter of their native land. Our fighters have raised the blue-yellow flag on the Kinburn Spit, 4-7.5 km from Ochakiv (Mykolaiv region).
The video was published on the Telegram channel of the unmanned systems unit of the 123rd Airborne Forces. They noted that the Ukrainian flag is a symbol of imminent victory.
“Pride! Every day – with every bird in the sky, with every hit on target. With every meter of land, sky and water conquered. Pride is the coordinated actions of units and success in the most daring operations,” the message says.
The footage shows the Ukrainian flag flying on the roof of a two-story dilapidated building. The actions of our defenders prove that Ukraine does not stop fighting and is reclaiming its own territories.
“Pride is about the unmanned systems unit of the 123rd Terroir Defense Brigade, which recently installed the first flag of Ukraine on the Kinburn Spit as a symbol of our inevitable victory over evil,” the message states.
It is worth noting that after the counteroffensive of the Defense Forces in the south in November 2022, the Kinburn Spit remained the only occupied part of the Mykolaiv region. In early June 2023, the territory temporarily became an island due to the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station by the occupiers and the subsequent flooding of the banks of the Dnieper River downstream. The Russian military concentrated a significant amount of equipment there, from which they shelled the city of Ochakiv and southern Ukraine in general.
We will remind you that in March 2025, our marines conducted another sweep of Russians on the Kinburn Spit. The invaders were moving around there in trucks and armored infantry fighting vehicles, so the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed them.
As OBOZ.UA wrote, the Armed Forces of Ukraine installed Ukrainian flags in the settlements of Voskresenka and Yalta in the Donetsk region . On June 25, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Russian army had allegedly “liberated” the village of Yalta in the Donetsk region.
This is great … and is the first time that AFU troops have entered the spit since the full-scale invasion.
