The child was waiting for them on the field with a flag.
Ukrainian military helicopters flew to the boy, who always waved the flag of Ukraine , after seeing them in the sky.
A touching video was published online by user Alex Bond. “This boy always greeted passing helicopters with a flag, wishing them good luck and return alive. One day they landed in front of his house,” he wrote on the microblog X (formerly Twitter).
In the video you can see how one helicopter lands near a house, near which a child is waving a Ukrainian flag. Soon a military man comes out with a package in his hands, gives it to the child and returns back.
The video ends with the soldiers flying away and the boy waving at them with a flag in his hand.

This brought tears into my eyes! That’s what the brave defenders are fighting for, young patriots (like my distantly related nephew) who will be the future of Ukraine.
