In the Kursk region of Russia, on the evening of November 3, there was a complaint about an attack by Ukrainian UAVs. The attack took place over an electrical substation in the city of Rylsk , leaving tens of thousands of local residents without electricity.
The shelling was confirmed by the regional authorities. Kursk Governor Oleksandr Khinshtein said on social media: “In Rylsk, as a result of an enemy strike on a substation, an emergency power outage occurred.”
He stated that electricity was lost in the Rila district (over 16 thousand consumers), plus in the Hlushkiv and Koreniv districts, which are powered by the Rila substation.
Residents of the aggressor country were promised that their energy workers would begin repairs “in the near future.”
Some hostile Telegram communities claimed that at least four drones hit the substation .

OSINT researchers from the supernova+ community found that the Rylsk 110/35/10 kV electrical substation was attacked.
Substation owner: branch of OJSC “IDGC of Center” – “Kurskenergo”.
Installed capacity is 41 MVA.

Nice! Let’s add even more regions to the power outage schedule.

Once the allocated money has been pilfered the substation will still be out of order in Spring.
That’s what I think, too. This is what makes Ukraine’s strikes even more effective.
