Explosions were heard in Belgorod, Russia , on the morning of July 3. After them, local residents observed thick black smoke in the sky, and power outages began in the city.

Details of the attack on Belgorod
Exilenova+ reported that Belgorod was under Ukrainian attacks at around 6 a.m. on Friday, July 3. Black smoke rose above the city after a series of explosions.
Local residents also complained about power outages.
Supernova+ claims that the target of the attack was the Energomash plant, located in Belgorod.
The enterprise is part of the Russian defense-industrial complex. It produces metal structures, pipeline elements, boilers, bellows compensators, high-voltage equipment, transformers, hydroturbines, electric machines, pumping equipment — everything for the energy industry, including nuclear power plants.
As OBOZ.UA reported, the day before it became known that the SBS had struck 12 electrical substations in the occupied territories since the beginning of July.
