During the massive night attack on Kyiv, absolutely all districts of the capital were affected. Some of the greatest destruction was recorded in Lukyanivka.

Thus, as a result of a direct hit, the shopping and entertainment center “Kvadrat” was completely destroyed. The footage published on the Internet shows that the shopping center building was completely burned down, with virtually nothing left of it.

The Lukyanivskyi market was also attacked at night and was engulfed in fires. Nothing remained of most of the stalls.

A 5-story residential building was also damaged as a result of the attack – part of the building collapsed. Windows were broken.

In addition, the Lukyanivska metro station was damaged – the entrance to the lobby was partially destroyed.

As reported by the Kyiv City State Administration , the Lukyanivska station will be temporarily closed for passenger traffic due to damage to the ground lobby by the blast wave. The resumption of the metro operation in normal mode will be announced later.

Also, due to the massive shelling of the capital, the entrance/exit to the Alley of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred at Khreschatyk station will also be temporarily closed.

In addition, the attack damaged the main office of Ukrposhta on Independence Square, the company’s CEO Igor Smilyanskyi reported .

“As a result of night flights, the main office of Ukrposhta on Maidan was damaged. Well, we have long planned to repair it a little – so there will be an opportunity to quickly restore it, like all our other branches after such nights,” he wrote on Facebook.

The National Chernobyl Museum in Podil was also damaged.
