Eyewitnesses report it was a drone attack. Anti-aircraft defenses were in place, but the attacks were unavoidable.

On the night of October 23, a series of explosions rocked Ryazan, Russia . Locals reported a drone attack, publishing videos featuring the distinctive sounds of drones flying overhead.

According to the Telegram channel Shot , explosions were heard in Ryazan and the city of Skopin. At least 10 explosions were heard. The channel claims that Russian air defense systems targeted the airborne targets, so there were no hits or damage.

However, eyewitnesses are posting videos online showing fires. The Telegram channel Exilenova+ reports that explosions were heard near the local oil refinery and the Dyagilevo airfield.

Local authorities have not yet commented on the incidents. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have also not yet confirmed their involvement in the attack.
