As a result of a drone attack, an enemy supersonic heavy fighter was damaged, journalists found out.

As a result of a strike on the Russian military airfield “Kushchevskaya” (located on the outskirts of the village of the same name in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation), one enemy aircraft was damaged.

The supersonic heavy fighter Su-27, as well as the airfield infrastructure, were damaged, reports the Telegram channel of the ASTRA publication, citing information from sources in regional emergency services.

  1. That’s good, but I do think there’s still room for improvement of such attacks. I do find the recently voiced idea of a drone carrying other drones promising. One of those larger long range drones, based on an ultralight aircraft, could deploy dozens of smaller kamikaze drones, outside the range of close air defence of an airport. Those attack drones have to be AI controlled, of course, thus immune to ECM, and capable of targeting the Russian jets’ vulnerable parts (maybe the air intakes). Then a strike would destroy or damage the majority of planes parked there! ✊😎🔱

    • I think the “mothership” principle could be deployed in the way you suggest, as well as expand range for closer targets, in addition give relay control to ground drones.

      • Yup, Sir Bill, that seems to be a sound concept with many advantages. I hope we’ll see that in action soon. 🤞😎🔱
