Attack on the port of Novorossiysk
As UNIAN reported, on the night of November 13-14, the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted a special operation to destroy the oil terminal at the Novorossiysk seaport (Krasnodar Krai, Russia). This is Russia’s second-largest oil export center and a key logistics hub for petroleum product exports via the Black Sea.
The attack damaged oil loading arms at the piers, pipeline infrastructure, and pumping units. A major fire broke out at the oil terminal.
Following the attack, the port halted oil exports . And Russia’s oil transportation monopoly, Transneft, stopped supplying oil to port terminals.
