A Russian drone killed a Freedom Channel journalist and cameraman in Kramatorsk.

Media outlets have been covering the situation in the region since the first days of the full-scale invasion.

Freedom TV journalist Elena Gubanova and cameraman Yevgeny Karmazin were killed in a strike by an enemy Lancet UAV in Kramatorsk, Donetsk Oblast .

This was reported by the Chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Head of the Regional Military Administration, Vadim Filashkin.

“From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, they covered the situation in the region, telling the truth about enemy crimes, the evacuation of civilians, and the stories of our defenders. They worked in the hottest spots in Donetsk, and were always the first everywhere,” he noted.

Filashkin emphasized that Russia is a terrorist country and must pay for all its crimes.
